Discovering Affiliates

Reviewing Applications

When an affiliate applies to promote your campaign:

  1. Go to Affiliates > Applications.
  2. Review the affiliate's profile and stats.
  3. Click Approve or Reject (optionally include a note).

Approved affiliates gain access to your campaign links and promotional assets.

Affiliate Profiles

Each affiliate profile shows:

  • Contact info — name, email, website, social handles.
  • Performance stats — clicks, conversions, revenue, EPC (earnings per click).
  • Active campaigns — which of your campaigns they are promoting.
  • Payment history — past payouts and pending earnings.
  • Churn risk — activity level (Active, At Risk, High Risk).

Segment & Tag Affiliates

Organize affiliates with tags and segments:

  • Tags: free-form labels (e.g., "top-performer", "PPC", "influencer"). Create custom tags to organize and categorize your affiliates.
  • Segments: dynamic groups based on performance filters (e.g., active affiliates, high-revenue performers, at-risk affiliates).

Use segments for targeted communications and tiered commission adjustments.

Communicate with Affiliates

  • Announcements: broadcast messages to all affiliates or a specific segment.
  • Direct messages: send one-on-one messages to individual affiliates.
  • Email notifications: automated emails for important updates (new campaigns, commission changes).

Go to Affiliates to manage all communications and view message history with each affiliate.

Manage Affiliate Status

Control affiliate relationship status:

  1. Open the affiliate's profile.

  2. Update their status:

    • Active — affiliate can generate links and earn commissions.
    • Paused — temporary pause; affiliate links stop tracking conversions until reactivated.
    • Terminated — permanent removal; all affiliate links are deactivated.
  3. Add a reason (optional) for status changes.

Fraud Protection

Affilync automatically detects and flags suspicious activity:

  • Click flooding or bot traffic patterns.
  • Abnormal conversion rates or geographic mismatches.
  • Unusual account behavior.

Review flagged affiliates in Affiliates > Fraud Alerts. Take action (pause, terminate, or allow) based on risk level and evidence.

Commission & Tier Management

Customize affiliate compensation:

  • Base commission — set a default rate for all affiliates.
  • Per-affiliate commission — override rates for top performers or strategic partners.
  • Tiers — assign affiliates to tiers (e.g., Bronze, Silver, Gold) with different rates and benefits.

Changes apply immediately and are reflected in future earnings calculations.
