Spring Platform Update — AI Caller V2 & Caller-First Repositioning
The platform has shipped a substantial wave of changes between March and now. This entry catches the changelog up.
TL;DR
- AI Caller V2 is live with TCPA-compliant outbound dialing — consent gating, DNC suppression, real-time opt-out detection, per-state quiet hours, and refund credits.
- Repositioning. Affilync is now positioned as an AI-Caller-first affiliate marketing platform — call tracking and the AI receptionist are the lead surfaces, with link tracking, analytics, and campaign management as supporting capabilities.
- Market Intelligence and Competitor Analysis merged into a single Brand Insights surface in the analytics dashboard.
AI Caller V2 (May 10)
The outbound AI dialer is now compliance-ready for TCPA-regulated industries. Every dial passes through a five-check pre-flight before the call is placed:
- Active, unexpired TCPA consent record for the called number.
- Number is not on the platform DNC list or the brand's own suppression list.
- The called party's local time is within the per-state quiet-hour window.
- Per-day rate cap for the brand has not been exceeded.
- Per-tier concurrency cap has not been exceeded.
Real-time opt-out detection listens for "stop", "remove me", and similar phrases during the call; the suppression write happens before the AI's acknowledgement TTS plays, so an early hang-up still records the opt-out.
Calls hung up under 30 seconds generate an automatic refund credit. Conversation intelligence rollups (lead score, sentiment trajectory, topic detection, next-best-action) are now available in AI Caller > Conversation Trends.

Caller-First Repositioning (May 14)
The platform's product narrative now leads with the AI Caller and call-tracking surface. Affiliate marketing — links, conversions, payouts — is now positioned as the supporting workflow that makes the calls profitable, rather than the lead product. Existing affiliate features are unchanged; only the messaging and navigation hierarchy moved.
Brand Insights — MI + CA Merge (May 12)
The previously separate Market Intelligence and Competitor Analysis dashboards have been consolidated into a single Brand Insights surface in the analytics dashboard. The capabilities are unchanged — only the UI shell merged. Old direct links to either dashboard redirect to the unified view.
Operational Improvements
- Reliability: shipped 30+ production bug fixes across billing, authentication, webhooks, data exports, and dashboard performance.
- Audit logging: sensitive account actions — password and MFA changes, and administrative user changes — now write to an immutable, SOC2-aligned audit trail.
- Webhook signing: signed-webhook integrations now enforce timestamp freshness in addition to signature verification, so stale replays are rejected.
What's Next
- Federal DNC SAN consumer-feed integration once operator credentials are provisioned.
- Stripe Connect for direct affiliate payouts (currently in late-stage testing).
- Shopify and TikTok Shop Partner Dashboard submissions (pending operator action).
